Bio:
Wayne Bryan - Will Rogers
Wayne is delighted to make his performing debut at FCLO. Raised in Downey and a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Wayne began his professional career as actor and director at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre. He made his Broadway debut in the Alice Faye revival of Good News! (singing "Button Up Your Overcoat" 415 times), then followed with the revue, Rodgers and Hart: A Musical Celebration, supervised by Richard Rodgers. Credits include the Broadway company of Tintypes and the National Tour of Joseph... For regional theaters he has starred in How to Succeed in Business..., Barnum, Where's Charley?, The Most Happy Fella, 1776, Paper Moon, Me and My Girl, and many more. TV credits include M*A*S*H for CBS, hosting American History for PBS, and starring as Mack Sennett in Keystone for A&E. Wayne is especially happy to appear at FCLO, which presented the L.A. premiere of a newly revised Good News! that Wayne co-authored with Mark Madama. Wayne loves returning to the role of Will Rogers which he performed for Musical Theatre West, Santa Barbara CLO, and Music Theatre of Wichita, where Wayne now begins his 14th season as Producing Director. Special thanks and love to Griff and Jan, Roger and Tracy, Steven and Michelle and Dad and Lee.
