False Map Turtle - Graptemys pseudogeographica

This aquatic turtle reaches 27 cm and occurs mainly in large streams and tributaries of the Mississippi River from Wisconsin through Louisiana and eastern Texas. It has a medial keel with low spines. This specimen died of natural causes in the wild.
