Bell's Hinge-back Tortoise - Kinixys belliana

The genus Kinixys contains the only living turtles in which the carapace has a movable hinge. Kinixys belliana is the most widespread and best known of this genus. It can reach up to 22 cm and is known to occur on the outskirts of the rainforests of tropical Africa. This specimen died in captivity.
