Jake is the first REAL horse that I have ever owned. He is a Quarter Horse/Arabian. He was born on April 14th 1994 and raised on our family farm here in Harvey, North Dakota.

Jake was originally trained to be my 4-H and show horse, but boy did that not work out due to the fact he LOVES to run. So, now he is my timed event and rodeo horse. His major events at shows and rodeos include: Barrels, Poles, Trail, Jumping, Calf roping, and pretty soon team roping. He also does ranch work at our farm like cutting cattle and herding them around.

Jake's major accomplishments include: 2000 4-H High Point Trophy (11-14), 2001 4-H High Point Trophy, 2002 4-H Reserve High Point Trophy, Wells County barrel racing champion 1997-2002, Wells County pole bending champion 1997-1999 2001-2002.

I don't have very many attributes to give Toby, but hes still cool. i have to stand on a pail just to get on him and yes, i did find a saddle that fit him LOL. As of now hes an awesome trail horse, he rarely spooks and is the smoothest ride i have had in a LONG time. So all in all hes great now. He wasn't broke when i got him, but he is now :) It only took me about 5 days before we hit the trails.
