Teresa and I met as two faceless strangers in a chat room one December day in 2000, and instantly became friends.  We would spend days talking about different things including our hobbies and different things like new friends do.  If one of us wasn't in the chat room, we would wait for the other, just so that we could talk about what had gone on that day in our life. 

The longer we talked, the more and more we started getting closer and closer to each other.  After a couple of weeks of talking online, I asked Teresa to Ark City for New Year's Eve.  Teresa accepted the invitation, and drove over.  From that night on, we knew in our hearts that we were meant to be together. 

Shortly after our first date, we started seeing each other every weekend.  The first weekend we spent together, I was introduced to Teresa's four wonderful children.  The more we were together, we found out that Serena (the youngest) had developed a thyrol-glassal duct cyst on her throat.  Going through two surgeries pulled us together even more...proving to us that we definitely belonged together.  At such a critical time in Teresa's life, I knew that she needed someone to be beside through moments like this, so I got the nerve up and asked her to marry me. 

In June of 2001, Teresa and the children moved to Ark City to begin their lives with me.  We got everything together and were brought together as one on July 5, 2002. 

On the following pages are pictures of the days leading up to and including our wedding and reception.  The song that is playing in the background is the song that Teresa walked to instead of the traditional Wedding March.
