Commission & Fees

Sellers receive 75% of the selling price. There is a $3.00 registration fee that will be automatically deducted from your seller profits. *Sellers that choose to have a worker place their merchandise on the sales floor receives 70% of the selling price.*

Registration

Please call or e-mail a request to receive a seller code. If you have sold with us before, you will keep your same seller code; however, you still need to call to register so that your space will be saved.

Registration Deadline: Monday, September 9, 2002.

Tell A Friend

Sellers help publicize the sale by telling their friends, co-workers, neighbors, and relatives. If you tell someone about the sale and they give your name as the person who referred them, then your name goes into a drawing for special prizes (door prizes, sale credit, or entry into the Preview Sale). We appreciate your support of the sale and we like giving stuff away! The more people you tell, the more times your name goes into the drawing. The sale can be a fun time to spend shopping with friends!

Getting Ready

We hold a seasonal sale twice a year. One sale is for spring/summer clothing and one is for fall/winter clothing. We accept toys, furniture and equipment at all sales. We offer a wide selection of any and all things child related. Sellers prepare their own items at home (wash, hang, tag & price). You may sell children's clothing that is gently used, in season, and clean. Clothes should be on hangers. If you do not have enough hangers, check with relatives, your local dry-cleaner, or sometimes a superstore will give your their old plastic ones.

Many infant items such as bibs, onesies, t-shirts, or socks can be placed in ziploc bags. Toys must be working order and complete. Place anything with small pieces in clear bags to prevent any lost pieces. Attach tags to bags and large toys with masking tape. Clear tape can be difficult to remove.

When pricing items, try to think to yourself, "What would I be willing to pay for this item?" Keep in mind that quality and name brands count. When attaching your tag to a garment, only use safety pins (no straight pins -- ouch!) It is very important to follow labeling instructions closely. When customers come through check out stations many times, tags are cut off rather than unpinned to save time.  If you have labeled your tag incorrectly then you may not be paid for an item.  *It is very important that the seller code and price goes on the bottom half of the tag.*

Dropping Off

Sellers will drop off items on a designated date. Sellers may drive into the building while unloading. You will be checked in by a staff member. Your items will be screened and then you may place them on the sales floor. We try to offer you help putting your things out but we can be called away for other sales business. When you drop off your items, if you do not have time to put your things out, for an additional charge a staff member can do it for you.

You are encouraged to assemble large items and equipment because it will sell much easier if the shopper can see it together. (We have plenty of space.)

We Want You....Extra Incentive

~ We try to keep things very lighthearted and it can be a fun time that for which you are volunteering. ~ It takes a lot of work to run a successful sale, especially since we are open to the public for so many hours. So as a special incentive to any sellers who volunteer to work a 3 - 4 hour shift will be allowed to shop before the preview sale. The work duties can range from distributing flyers, helping to take in merchandise to working the sale. It can be a great opportunity to be able to have first choice on some great stuff! If it sounds like something that you are interested in, please let us know when you register.

Preview Sale

The preview sale will be the night before opening to the public for shopping. When you check in, you will be given a special pass that will allow you to get into the sale. This pass is good for one adult to shop at the preview sale. Children are discouraged at the presale. It can be very difficult when someone's child is being entertained by a toy that you want to purchase. We do understand that there are exceptions to the rule. Some moms need to bring their child due to baby-sitting problems or so your child may pick out their own clothes. If you bring your child, they must stay with you and be supervised at all times. If your child becomes disruptive, you may be asked to come back at a different time.

Unsold Items

After the sale has concluded, the seller has an opportunity to pick up any items that were not sold. Anything not picked up by the seller will be donated to a local charity. Upon request, we will provide the seller with a tax deduction slip for their donated items.

Checks & Tags

Sellers may pick up their seller's checks on Saturday, October 5 at Peachtree Peddlers. Both the checks and the tags for your items sold will be available. If you are unable to pick up your check, it will be mailed to you. If you would like us to include your tags in the mailing of the check, there may be a minimal charge for postage.
