  A group of some 70 German soldiers arrived in Afghanistan as a part of the International peace keeping forces. Germany is part of NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Orginization, along with the US. Both countries have seen action in Afghanistan in recent months. Germany is allied with USA, along with other major countries such as France, UK, Russia, Poland and Canada.
