Isabella Black was born prematurly on October 21, 1993 to John Black and Dr. Marlena Evans at the Horton Cabin on Smith Island.
Belle was named after Isabella Beatrice Toscano-Black who died close to one year before her birth on October 16, 1992.
Assisting in her birth were John Black and Kristen Blake.(it was not known at this time that John was the father)
Originally, the residents of Salem believed that Belle was the daughter of Marlena and Roman. In truth, Belle was the product of a one-night-affair between Marlena and John Black.
Belle is the product of an affair between John and Marlena
Marlena and Roman ended up getting divorced because of the affair
Belle's birth certificate was finally changed to recognize John as her father on June 25, 1999
Belle's true parentage might never have been revealed if it weren't for her older sister Sami who discovered the truth and kept the secret for several months. She even kidnapped Belle and tried to have her legally adopted! In the end, however, it was Stefano DiMera who revealed the truth after reading Sami's diary.

Brianna and Chalice Fischette (twins) played the first role of Belle.
In 1995, another set of twins replaced them. Megan Brianna and Morgan Brittany McConnel.
Once 1998 (April) came around, yet again another set of twins played the role. Ashlyn and Kayley Messick were on the cast for only two months.
August 21st,that same year Chelsea Butler played the role.
Kirsten Storms joined the cast of Days in 1999, and was the first teenage Belle. And she took over Americas heart with her character as well as her self as Kirsten Storms~~~~~
