Notes:  Charlie Leibrandt limited the Cardinals to two hits through eight innings, but St. Louis struck for four runs in the ninth to take a 2-0 lead in the Series.  The Cardinals became the first team since the Yankees in the '39 Series to come back from a 2-0 deficit in the ninth inning.  The Cards strung together a Series-record three doubles, the last of which was Pendleton's two-out, bases-loaded shot.

Thanks Richard!
