Notes:  Minnesota throws everything they have at the Penguins, but for all the hits they deliver and nets they knock off the moorings, the North Stars end their season by suffering a shutout loss.  The Penguins start scoring and keep finding the back of the net, causing Brian Hayward to come in for John Casey in the second period.  Casey returns in the third when it is evident the Penguins cannot be stopped.

The Penguins win by the largest margin of victory in a final game since 1917.

**Missing part of the second period, including Errey’s goal and a big fight.**

Thanks Jim!
