Notes: Bob Griese gave up an intentional safety, setting up a 70-yard
free kick by Larry Seiple, to help stave off a late Pittsburgh threat. Miami
opened up a 27-0 lead with the aid of two Dick Anderson interception returns
for touchdowns before Franco Harris’ 105 yards rushing and Terry Bradshaw
sparked the Steelers’ rally. Bradshaw
returned to action for the first time since he suffered a shoulder separation
Oct. 28, replacing starter Joe Gilliam who was intercepted three times. Anderson tied
two NFL records with four of the six Miami
interceptions and his two scores. Miami
RB Larry Csonka rushed past the 5,000-yard mark. The defeat dropped Pittsburgh
into a three-way tie with Cleveland and Cincinnati in the AFC
Central. **Missing the last 20 seconds,
after Miami
intercepts the pass to clinch the win.**
Thanks John!
