Notes:  Harold Hart raced 102 yards with a kickoff return, the longest in the NFL in 1975, and Pete Banaszak, filling in for the injured Marv Hubbard, rushed for 74 yards and scored two touchdowns in the Raiders’ first opening game victory since 1969.  Miami, unbeaten at home since October 3, 1971, had its 31-game streak snapped.  The rematch of 1974’s exciting divisional playoff game in which the Raiders nipped the Dolphins 28-26 saw Oakland intercept four Bob Griese passes and sack the quarterback three times.  Mercury Morris scored twice and Norm Bulaich once for the Dolphins on running plays.  Oakland lost Hubbard with a shoulder injury.

Thanks John!
