Notes:  The Raiders come into Arrowhead on a six-game losing streak, a nine-game losing streak to the Chiefs, and a 17-game divisional losing streak.  And the Chiefs let them escape with a win and some hope for the future.  Rookie RB Kolby Smith was the one shining star for the Chiefs, rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns after Larry Johnson’s injury three weeks prior and Priest Holmes’ retirement after a brief comeback bid.  Justin Fargas becomes the first Oakland running back to rush for over 100 yards in Arrowhead since Arthur Whittington had 134 on 11/5/78.  KC kicker Dave Rayner missed two field goals in this game, dropping to 68% for the season and ending his career with the team.
