Notes:  Jim Turner’s third field goal, a 35-yard kick, gave Denver a 23-23 tie with Oakland with only three seconds to go after George Blanda’s 49-yard kick, also his third, had put the Raiders out front with only 36 seconds left.  The Broncos’ defense sacked Ken Stabler six times and Floyd Little ran 71 yards for a career total of 5,032.  Fred Biletnikoff’s eight catches for 116 yards gave him 6,076 lifetime yards.  Stabler’s 80-yard TD pass to Mike Siani proved to be the longest AFC completion in 1973.  It was the first-ever Monday Night Football broadcast from Denver, and the first time it had ever ended in a tie.

Thanks Jim!
