Notes:  The Patriots came from behind to go 16-0 on the season against a tough Giants team that nearly pulled the upset.  Tom Brady (32-for-42 for 356 yards) passed Colts QB Peyton Manning's mark for the most touchdown passes in a single season with two touchdowns against the Giants, bringing his season total to 50.  WR Randy Moss moved ahead of Jerry Rice for the most touchdown receptions in a single season, with two in the game for a season total of 23.  Brady and Moss achieved their records on the same play, a 65-yard bomb that turned out to be the winning score.  New England also set a league mark with 75 touchdowns on the year.
