Notes:  With Pete Stoyanovich's 41-yard field goal attempt - and the Dolphins' hope for an upset victory - spinning to a halt at the 1-yard line, the Cowboys' defensive tackle did something that was more stunning than the icy snow covering the field.  Lett broke through a ring of three Dolphins players and slid into the ball, knocking it into the end zone - and the Dallas Cowboys right out of the win column.

Miami recovered, and Stoyanovich converted a 19-yard chip shot as time ran out for an improbable 16-14 Miami win that left the Cowboys as shocked as anyone who had come to Thursday's game in a tank-top and flip-flops.

Before Lett's gaffe, which came 11 games after he had the ball stripped at the Buffalo 1 while showboating toward a seemingly sure touchdown in the Super Bowl, the story of the game appeared to be the unlikely performances of Lincoln Coleman and Daryl Johnston.

Keith Byars rips off a 77-yard run, tying the old Dolphins record set by Leroy Harris against the Baltimore Colts on December 5, 1977.

Thanks Jonathan!
