Grade:  Very Good.  Some dropouts but not too bad, degrading to Good on 2nd disc.  Very watchable.

Notes:  Bret Saberhagen allowed six singles en route to giving the Royals their first victory of the Series.  Saberhagen survived a Cardinal rally in the first.  With the runners going from first and second on a full-count to Jack Clark, Sabes got a called third strike and Sundberg threw out Willie McGee for an inning-ending double play.  KC's offense collected 11 hits, including a two-run homer and a run-scoring double by Frank White.  After Lonnie Smith's two-run double put the Royals ahead 2-0 in the fourth, White unloaded a two-run round-tripper in the fifth.  Andujar exits after White’s homer, replaced by Bill Campbell.  Ricky Horton comes in to pitch the 6th, and Ken Dayley closes the game out.  George Brett ties a World Series record by safely reaching base 5 times.

Thanks Richard!
