Notes:  This is a slow-moving game through the 1st quarter, with only an interception for each team to keep it interesting.  The “Killer B’s” of Miami’s defense return to their old form, harassing QB Danny White and the Dallas receivers and stopping Tony Dorsett’s run for most of three quarters.  Dan Marino to Mark Clayton in the final minute gives Clayton the record for TD receptions in a season – 18.  Marino passes Dan Fouts’ 1981 record for passing yards in a season, and Miami clinches home field advantage throughout the playoffs.  Dallas’ streak of 9 straight seasons in the playoffs comes to an end with the loss.

Thanks Jonathan!
