Bordeaux 2000 Futures

Everybody in the Wine World has certainly heard about the great 2000 vintage in Bordeaux.  Every year it seems that there is a great deal of hype about futures, but not since 1990 ... and in some cases, 1982 ... have wines been reviewed with this much interest.  It seems to be a vintage that provides uniformly high quality across all regions and price levels.  The wines that I have sampled have all been very rich and powerful.

Rudolf Geil - Millennium

We have been working hard on both sides of the Atlantic to bring you one of the most exciting new products to be seen this year … or any year.  Our friend, Rudolf Geil, has worked with me to develop packaging for some special wines to celebrate the coming New Millennium.                                                                                                                       

The 1990 Beerenauslese represents a ten-year old rare wine especially reserved for this occasion.   It is bottled in a frosted deep blue bottle with gold silk-screened text and a hand-signed message from Rudolf : “My best in the last 10 years!”.                                                                        

The Kabinett is available in 500 ml. frosted bottles in three different colors.  Note: these wines are only available in a minimum of six bottles.  They come in six-pack cartons with 2 bottles of each color.   They are only available as a mixed color pack.    And, needless to say, there is a very limited quantity available.
