Hello my
name is Elaine a.k.a. bebop. I made this homepage to honor my granddaughter,
who passed over to God's arms on away on March 11th, 1996, and I also wanted
to tell you about my new grandson Dakota Austin.
The paintings
of the Angel's below were found on the internet. I'm sure we've all seen
them somewhere in our lives. For those that have not, these were quite
well known some odd 50 years ago or so. One of these prints hung somewhere
in almost everyone's home at one time or another. Over time they have waned
in popularity. However they are making a come back with the renewed interest
in Angel's. One reason I love these paintings so much is that the subject
material is children being watched over by God's Angel's. Although Savannah
is no longer on this earth, I'm sure she's with Jesus his Angel's are watching
over her now in heaven.
Savannah Destiny My Grand-daughter
This is one of my favorite photographs of her. Taken December 25th, 1995..
The following poem not only describes my love for Savannah but also all the love those who knew her hold in their hearts for her. (This poem was written by friends daughter).
Savannah Destiny Bryan
I sat her
today
Thinking
about what I've been told
Knowing
it wouldn't be good
Knowing
I would need somebody to hold
Why would
God do this I quietly thought to myself
She was
only 3 months old
And was
seemingly in good health
She had
touched so many lives
Bringing
joy with all her smiles
I would
have done anything for her
I would
have run a million miles Savannah was so pure
As pure
as pure can be
I know
this might not help, but in a very unique way
Savannah
had become very close to me
I looked
at her face then t her face now
No matter
when I see her
I can't
keep from wondering how
How could
someone so special come into our lives and leave
Without
God letting us say goodbye-only leaving us to grieve
I know
she wasn't old enough to know what love really means
But if
she could speak she would've told us that she loved both you and me
Savannah
was a work of God
That truly
was our blessing
An art
of life that meant so much
She truly
has a touch
A touch
of warmth and joy and love

THE TINY "ROSEBUD"
The Master Gardener
From Heaven Above / plants a seed in the Garden of Love
/ And from it there
grew a rosebud small
That never had time
to open at all.
/ For God in His perfect
and all-wise way
/ chose this rose
for His Heavenly Bouquet
And great was the
joy of this tiny rose
/To be the one our
Father chose
/ To leave earth's
garden for the One on High
Where roses bloom
always and never die
/ So, while you can't
see your precious rose bloom
/You know the Great
Gardener from the upper room
/ Is watching and
tending this wee rose with care,
/ Tenderly touching
each petal so fair...
/ So think of your
darling with the Angels above
/ Secure and contented
and surrounded by love,
/ And remember God
blessed
/And enriched your
lives too
/ for in dying your
darling
/Brought Heaven closer
to YOU!
