Ky Kiske and Millia Rage, from Guilty Gear X. I'm not very happy with this, but have been told it's good...

This one I like much better It's a compilation of pictures (and a dollop of text) from Gunm Last Order, sequel to Battle Angel Alita, which is one of my favoritest mangas.

Another manga-based wallpaper. This is Chii, from Chobits, and it was my first wallpaper.

Chii again You'd think just coloring something in like this would be a piece of cake, but this actually took a couple of hours (including minor distractions )

I loved this picture so much that I had to make it my wallpaper It took about 2 minutes to do -- crop the picture, increase the height, canvas color black, export. Whee But it's pretty! And the empty black space on the right is nicely filled by a buddy list (though I need a new Trillian skin to match now )

Here's another Hikaru No Go wallpaper -- these last two are blatantly illegal; this one was taken from the Sai Artbook (all the scans are available at Toriyama's World). All I did was add a little white at the top and the text box -- but it's pretty! .

I was bored one day, and discovered I have some pages from the Bone comic, by Jeff Smith, on my computer. I cut panels from several and made a background. I also made a couple AIM icons -- you know where to find those.

I recently redid my GGX background -- twice actually It's not like I was supposed to be working on my term paper or anything at the time...¬_¬ But I do like these two a lot better than the original; they're more dynamic because of the emphasis on diagonal elements. They're also balanced better, or at least more interestingly. <-- Look! Art classes actaully do teach things!

A background based on Hikaru No Go chapter 146 -- that's where all the pictures came from, also. When I got to the picture in the center as I was reading, I went "Wow. That needs to be a wallpaper." So...it is! This background is 1200x900 -- the 1024x768 version is here.

A collection of recent non-comic art from Megatokyo. I left in the little copyright thingy with the creater's name, so hopefully I won't be accused of plagarism This is another 1200x900 background...Click here for the 1024x768 version.

In almost every episode of Matantei Loki Ragnarok, Loki "has no choice" but to summon up his magical staff thingy and kick ass. The sequence of him summoning it is always the same, and I saw it sooo many times that I was inspired to summarize it in a wallpaper. I'm actually quite pleased with how it turned out.
