My sonogram pictures from July 14, 1999. I found out I was pregnant in March, just a few days before my 27th birthday. I felt it was my birthday present from God himself. Saying that I was excited would be an understatement. Up until having the songram, Gerry thought for sure we were going to have a girl. For some reason, I just knew it was going to be the little boy I always wanted. So, we made a bet...I won!

These are all of my cards from my doctor appointments during my pregnancy. Something told me to hold on to them. I'm so happy I saved them.

"Big" me at my baby shower on November 13th, 1999...just six days before Timothy was born. I wasn't planning on him arriving until the end of November or the beginning of December! Whew! We just made it!

This was my shower invitation. My sister Kelley wrote so many of these out to people that she started to address them to herself! You gotta' love her. It was so funny.

This was my cake...it was in the design of a baby quilt. We were doing Timothy's room in bears, so they put a BIG chocholate bear in the lower left hand corner. In the middle it said: "Welcome Timothy Michael."
These are a few of my favorite pictures and cards from the shower. All of us had such a wonderful time. My sister and two of my sister in-laws decided to play a little joke on me. After unwrapping everything imaginable for a baby boy...baby boy blankets, clothes, socks, shoes, hats, strollers, and toys...and not to mention decorating his room in all "boy decor", My sister turns to me and said, "OH Keri, by the way...this is really hard for us to tell you, but your doctor's office called and well...it looks like you are really having a girl." My heart just about sank into my shoes until one of my sister in-laws couldn't hold it in any longer and started laughing. I almost started to cry! I could have smacked all of them at once. It was quite funny because the whole room got really quiet. You have to know my family...we like to have fun...there is never a dull moment.

I was about 8 months pregnant with Timothy when this was taken. We never got a picture of the three of us together after Timothy was born. It seemed we were always the ones with the camera in our hands taking pictures of Timothy with other people. I will always regret not making sure we had one of all three of us.
