--*Individual Prizes/Awards*--

...a very simple point system was used throughout the Americana Racing Series to keep track of stands. The following is a chart showing what amount of Americana points was awarded for what placing:

*1st* 200 *3rd* 100
*2nd* 150 *4th* 50

The prizes will be listed from least placed horse to best placed horse, starting with number 9 and going to number 1....

9th) --*(ARS) Dark Wonder*-- (100 pts)
Dark Wonder placed a steady and gaining third in the Americana Stakes. In the classic, he finished 6th. HE came away from the series with $10,000.
*For his efforts, this colt was awarded with a bonus of 5 points and a red, white, and blue halter and lead chank.

8th) --*BF Tough Love*-- (150 pts)
BF Tough Love is a tough colt. He entered the series with a graded win under his girth on the turf. In the Americana Stakes, he finished an honest 4th. In the Classic, he finished 3rd only by a photo after a troubled trip.
*BF Tough Love is awarded an additional 10 points. His owner, Phillipa, is rewarded with a copper medal with a red, white, and blue ribbon with Tough Love's name engraved, along with the date and name of his Americana races.

7th) --*Torch Of Thunder*-- (150 pts)
Torch of Thunder, one of the three Torch Bearer colts in the placed colts, raced in the Americana Plate and the Americana Classic. In the Plate, he finished third after a powerful drive late in the race. In the Classic he lost by the barest of noses to BF Tough Love in a photo.
*Torch Of Thunder is awarded an additional 10 points. His owner, Serena C, is given a silver medal with a red, white, and blue ribbon with Torch's name engraved along with the date and name of his Americana races.

6th) --*Ready Or Not*-- (150 pts)
Ready Or Not took a second to Valadan in the Americana Stakes after a very game effort. The colt also raced in the Americana classic, but raced a dismal last after some problems. *For his success in the Americana Series, Ready Or Not is awarded 10 extra points. His owner, Kelli, is awarded a golden medal with a red, white, and blue ribbon with Ready's name engraved along with the date and name of his Americana race.

5th) --*Black Gold*-- (150 pts)
Black Gold, formerly KC Black Gold, put in performances in 2 of the 3 Americana races. His first, the Plate, resulted in him finishing 2nd to Bloodbath. His next start in the Stakes, however, landed him in 6th.
*This colt is rewarded with 10 additional points. His owner Kira is given a copper cup with Black Gold's name engraved underneath the image of a racing Thoroughbred.

4th) --*Heza Classy Devil*-- (200 pts)
Heza Classy Devil started the series with lackluster results, a ninth in the Americana Stakes. But he sprung back to win the Americana Classic going away!
*This colt is rewarded with 15 additional points. His owner Heather is given a silver cup with Heza Classy Devil's name engraved underneath the image of a racing Thoroughbred.

3rd) --*Blood Soaked & Honor Bound*-- (200 pts)
This colt is the second of three in the series sired by NCH. Torch Bearer. He raced in two races, first the plate, where he finished 4th, then the Classic, where he was a close 2nd.
*This colt is rewarded with 15 additional points. His owner Aia is given a golden cup with Blood Soaked's name engraved underneath the image of a racing Thoroughbred.

2nd) --*Bloodbath*-- (200 pts)
Bloodbath, the half brother of the other two Torch Bearer colts in this series, proved the most successful, winning his first and only Americana race, the Plate. He won with room to spare.
*This colt is rewarded with 20 additional points. He is given a blanket of red, white, and blue tulips along with a personalized blanket with the American flag pattern.

1st) --*Valadan*-- (200 pts)
And then number one colt in the Americana Series, Valadan. This colt raced in only one Americana race, the Stakes, but won impressively, going away.
*Valadan is rewarded with 20 additional points. He is given a blanket of red, white, and blue roses along with a personalized blanket with the American flag pattern. His owner Cinda is awarded with a gold trophy with the colt's name under the title of Championship Americana Two Year Old.
