Keith Downer

 

Keith Downer grew up and has spent his life in the Garden City area around the cattle business.

Keith knows the cattle business inside out as he has spent his time working as a cattle buyer, cattle trader, and cattle feeder for over 25 years now.

One of Keith's main inspirations for entering into cowboy poetry was his own father, who was reciting poetry when Keith was a little boy. His father lived to be 99 years old.

Keith has a wonderful delivery that is straight from the heart and soul of a real honest to goodness working cowboy. Keith has written many poems of his own, based on true experiences.
