Castles are all over in Turkey. Whitney and I went to two while on Spring Break. Most are a hike to get into.

The first castle we went to was called Kaypak. This is a picture of it from the lake that we also went too.

This is Snake castle, yes it got it's name from snakes being there. It is a very difficult hike and there are all kinds of hiden rooms and holes inside. I didn't go up there but we plan to go back with James. Whitney and some of the girls on our trip went and they only found one way in.

The first place we stopped on our adventure was this lake.

From the top of the castle you can see lots of small ponds and waterfalls. This is only one. And as you can see we are very high up.

This is the side of Kaypak castle. There is a Turkish Flag hanging. Once we were inside we could see that folks had stayed awhile up in there. Our tour guide said maybe they were camping overnight.

Whitney on the edge at the very highest part of Kaypak. She was scared she was going to fall off. And it was very breezy up there.
