Hello my name is Elaine a.k.a. bebop. I made this homepage to honor my granddaughter, who passed over to God's arms on away on March 11th, 1996, and I also wanted to tell you about my new grandson Dakota Austin.
Savannah
Destiny My Grand-daughter
This is
one of my favorite photographs of her. Taken December 25th, 1995
.
.
The following poem not only describes my love for Savannah but also all the love those who knew her hold in their hearts for her. (This poem was written by friends daughter).
Savannah Destiny Bryan
I sat her
today/Thinking about what I've been told/Knowing it wouldn't be good/Knowing
I would need somebody to hold/Why would God do this/I quietly thought to
myself/She was only 3 months old/And was seemingly in good health/She had
touched so many lives/Bringing joy with all her smiles/I would have done
anything for her/I would have run a million miles
Savannah
was so pure/As pure as pure can be/I know this might not help, but in a
very unique way/Savannah had become very close to me/I looked at her face
then/As I look at her face now/No matter when I see her/I can't keep from
wondering how/How could someone so special come into our lives and leave/Without
God letting us say goodbye-only leaving us to grieve/I know she wasn't
old enough to know what love really means/But if she could speak she would've
told us that she loved both you and me/Savannah was a work of God/That
truly was our blessing/An art of life that meant so much/She truly has
a touch/A touch of warmth and joy and love/I loved her with all my heart/I
will never forget 'Savannah'

THE TINY "ROSEBUD"
The Master
Gardener From Heaven Above/plants a seed in the Garden of Love/And from
it there grew a rosebud small
That
never had time to open at all./For God in His perfect and all-wise way/chose
this rose for His Heavenly Bouquet
And
great was the joy of this tiny rose/To be the one our Father chose/To leave
earth's garden for the One on High
Where
roses bloom always and never die/So, while you can't see your precious
rose bloom/You know the Great Gardener from the upper room/Is watching
and tending this wee rose with care,/Tenderly touching each petal so fair.../So
think of your darling with the Angels above/Secure and contented and surrounded
by love,/And remember God blessed/And enriched your lives too/for in dying
your darling/Brought Heaven closer to YOU!/author unknown to me

Dakota Austin My Grandson
This little guy is indeed a joy to us. He smiles all time, laughs, and loves to play. He's a very typical boy, into everything *LOL*
This is Dakota at his county fair. We were in Salina, KS watching the draft horse competition. He loved those big horses. Just take a look at Ganny showing him one of the horses. I don't know who enjoyed it more, him or me. He was a laughing' and having a great time! We ate popcorn, corn dogs, looked at the horses, the cattle, sheep, ducks, geese, and other farm animals. He had such a big day out, he was asleep early that night. I wonder if dreamed about riding those BIG horses, and playing with all the animals he saw that day?
The paintings
of the Angel's below were found while surfing the internet. One reason
I love these pictures so much that the subject material is children being
watched over by God's Angel's. Although Savannah is no longer on this earth,
I'm sure she's with Jesus and he has one of His Angel's watching over her
now.
I have
added some more pictures of Angel's to my homepage. Please visit and enjoy
the gallery's. Thank You
