Dinosaur Egg

This is an example of an Oviraptor dinosaur egg. This dinosaur was rather small, only about 6-7 feet long and weighing 60-70 pounds. The dinosaur lived during the Late Cretaceous Period, and this egg was collected in northwestern China near the Mongolian border. The egg is 6 inches long and weighs 11.3 ounces.

Hibolites hastatus

Here are the remains of an animal that is similiar to the modern Cuttlefish. It lived in the Mesozoic seas. This particular specimen was collected from the Malm Formation, at Treuchtlingen, Germany and lived during the Jurassic Period.
