Main and interesting characters
The Hobbit was a book of intense fantasy and adventure that provokes the imagination to create the journeys of Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Wizard, and the cast of many other interesting characters in the mind.
In my opinion J.R.R. Tolkien did a very good job with The Hobbit. From Gandalf convincing Bilbo to come on the adventure with him and the dwarves, to the abducting by the goblins, to the riddle's with Gollum, and the infiltration of Smaug's lair in Lonely Mountain, this book was one to keep the reader's attention from front to back cover.
If you decide to read The Hobbit and enjoy it, it'd be a good suggestion to check out the rest of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, also written by J.R.R. Tolkien.
