WHO WE ARE
We are Loving Our Kids Homeschool Support Group, part of Southeast Kansas Homeschool Support Group, and we welcome you to our new webpage. We are a group of homeschoolers living in Iola, Savonburg,and surrounding areas. We get together periodically for Mom’s Night Out,Field Trips, and more.
OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose to uplift and encourage each other as we share the common interest
of “training our children the way they should go” and “teaching them” as the Lord God
has instructed us.
Eccl.4:9-12 says,
Two are better than one.Because thay have a good reward for their
labor. For if they fall,one wil lift up his companion.But woe to him
who is alone when he falls,For he has no one to help him up. Again,if
two lie down together,they will keep warm;But how can one bewarm
alone? Though one may be overpowered by another,two can withstand
him.And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in God who is eternally existent in three separate persons: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, that He was born of a virgin, lived
a sinles life, died for our sins on the Cross, was resurrected, and is now alive and sitting at
the right hand of God the Father.
We believe that all people are sinners and are naturally separated from God, but that
through Jesus Christ, we can repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and
Savior and be born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
