The International Martial Arts Training Camp is an annual
training event, which this year was held October 6, 2007
at Dr. Winfred Schneiderīs Family Martial Arts Center, in Ronkonkoma, New York.



The follow instructors shared their knowledge with the participants:


Dr. Germon Marie Miller
Prof. Miller is the only female 10th Degree ~ Askari Mwalimu
in the African Martial Art of Vita Saana. Grandmaster Miller
is the founder of the AKERU Discipline Science System. In 2000,
she was the first female inductee at the annual W.M.A.L. Hall of Fame.
Germon also serves at the international director and coordinator
of the W.M.A.L. division of Women's and Youth affairs. She is a 30 year
veteran in the field of Anti-Violence and a Crisis Intervention Specialist.


Dr. William T. Jeffries Chong-Jang-Nim

Prof. Jeffries began Boxing in 1947 and was the 1950 A.A.U. – Flyweight Champion.
Chong Kwan-Jang-Nim is a member of the U.S.M.A., the World Martial Arts League,
the World Independent Tae-Kwon-Do Association and a member of the worldwide board of the
International Council of Higher Martial Arts Education. He also is a certified Karate Hachidan,
a Goshin Ju Jitsu Rokudan and a Judo Rokudan Sensei. His actual ranks also include Hachidan in Te,
World Class Instructor, Class A Referee, Founder of Ho-Shin, Gumdo Chodan and Hapkido, Samdan and Senior Certified Master Instructor and Examiner for Judo, Ju Jitsu and Karate.

Grand Master Dr. William T. Jeffries is the founder of the Ki-Do-Kwan.
He holds a 10th Dan in Ho-Shin-Do and an 9th Dan Tae-Kwon-Do.


Grandmaster Grover Lee Milam
Grandmaster Grandmaster G.L. Milam started his Martial Artsb career with Judo in 1956. In 1982, Master Milam formed the Shashin-Ryu Kempo System. At the Age of 60 Master Milam is still involved in the teaching and development of the Shashin-Ryu System. And holds the following ranks: Shashin-Ryu Kempo 10th Dan/Founder, Shorin-Ryu 5th Dan, Goju-Ryu 4th Dan, Shotokan 2nd Dan, Aikido 2nd Dan, and Judo 3rd Dan.


Grandmaster Ralph Viggiano
Hanshi Viggiano is presently directing the "Combat Karate" Hombu Dojo and instructing class in Manhattan, NY. For 30 years he studied exclusively with Grand Master Johnny Kuhl. As the head Sensei of "Johnny Kuhl Combat Karate" since 1976,Master Viggiano worked side by side with Grand Master Kuhl refereeing tournaments,teaching karate, and demonstrating "Combat Karate" throughout the United States. Before his untimely death, Grand Master Kuhl presented his Red Belt to Sensei Ralph Viggiano as his #1 student and heir apparent to the "Combat Karate" system as was developed by Soke Johnny Kuhl.


Shi-Fu Christos Stamatiadis
Shi-Fu Christos Stamatiadis is a multiple Hall of Fame inductee,
started Wu-Shu at the age of 13 and spend a lot of time in China since.
He is a former multiple Wu-Shu champion and since 2002 he teaches Wu-Shu
and arranges seminars on the island of Thassos /Greece and in Switzerland.
The major styles Sifu Christos practice are: Ten Routine Spring Leg,
Long Fist, Shaolin and Three Emperor Canon Boxing.


Grand Chiefmaster Rico Guy
Prof. Guy is the creator of Go Kempo-Jitsu and holds the ranks of 10th Dan in Goju Karate, 10th Dan in Iaido and Jiu-Jitsu, 8th Dan in Kendo and Judo 8th Dan, etc. He is the founder of the U.S. Budo Kaikan.


Mwanzo Umeme Mpingo Maharibi
Mwanzo Umeme Mpingo Maharibi began to fuse his experience in Afrikan dance with common sense and raw talent to create the beginnings of an effective self-defense system. Mwanso met Mwangazi and Jabali Wazuri, an historian, through The Temple of the Black Messiah. Here these 3 men laid the practical, theoretical and historical foundation of Vita Saana in 1973. Umeme, a self-taught martial artist, has brought new pride to may people in Philadelphia and introduced the Afrikan System of Martial Arts to thousands through his travels on the tournament circuit. Vita Saana has earned Citations from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia Honoring 20 years in 1993.
