A night with rivers

Woo! Sorry it took me so long to get this out, but our computer labs were closed for break! Man, do I have a story for the list!!!! Okay...Here's the short version, and if anyone wants more details, I will post another letter:)

Okay, so I went to the show at the 930 club in DC. The concert rocked. I was in the front row for the whole show getting the crap squished out of me, but it was worth it. Matt kept throwing water on us, and then teasing us by leaving it right on the edge of the stage. It was great though. So, after the show, we went up to get pictures with Rivers and so on. Well, I met a guy there who had met the band before the show, and he knew about my obsession with Rivers. So he said: "Why don't you give him your phone number?"
I'm thinking..."What does Rivers want with my number?", but I gave it a shot. So, here's Rivers holding my phone number, and he's like "Well, I'm only here until tomorrow", and I said "That's okay!"...And he said
"What are you doing later?"
I had no plans, of course. So...after a little conversation...He decided to invite me and a few others back to the hotel they were staying at.

Well, folks, needless to say I was a little excited. The other girls that were there were 18, or something like that, but I was 21, so closest to his age.

So, he spent a little time with each of us but I got to be in there last. I was down talking to a few of the roadies waiting for him to call me:) I learned quite a few intersting things about Weezer from, them, let me tell you! Well, at about 3 or so, the phone rings. It's Rivers, and he wants me to come up to his room. So, of course, I race up there. We sat and talked for about an hour, but he looked so tired that I told him to go to bed! They had to leave in the morning for Chicago, and I didn't want the fans there to have any less of him than they deserved!

But anyway...so I got to talk with Rivers alone for quite awhile! I'm still shaking from the experience as you can imagine!

It was quite a night and one I will never forget! And he still has my phone number! Who knows...maybe he'll call me sometime! If anyone wants more details, let me know....
