Resident Evil hit us by storm when it came to U.S stores, but how did Resident Evil 2 shock us? Well the answer is, a great deal. Resident Evil 2 is still the highest selling PlayStation game in the United States.

So you want to know about the graphics huh? Well their amazing! I was totally amazed when I played for the first time over Joel's ( one of my friends and editors ) house. The zombies look much more detailed, but the biggest graphical improvement would have to be, how the main characters look. For instance in Resident Evil 1 both Chris and Jill were fair looking, but Leon ( the male hero ) and Claire ( female hero, Chris's sister ) are amazing looking.

Resident Evil 2 only has two bad points, one the game is to easy and two the game is to short. Other than that the game is flawless. Some of the weapons that you will get along the way are, flame throwers, machine guns, pistols, knives, bazookas, grenade launchers and shotguns.

If your a huge Resident Evil or Tomb Raider fan then you will defiantly love this game. But if you only like games such as Rascal he he.. then you will probably hate this game.

Codes

- #1) You can get different outfits for Claire and Leon, and you get Claire's secret gun.:
Start the game with either Leon or Claire. Get to the police station without picking up any items. then get alot of ammo in the station and head back out of the station. Go down the stairs and kill a zombie named "Brad". (Brad takes alot of shots to kill, ALOT.) And then search the zombie for a key that he has. That key opens one of the lockers in the darkroom, where you can find different clothes for Leon and Claire, and Claire's secret gun.

- #2) To kill the gator boss in one shot: When the gator starts to advance on you, you'll see a yellow light on the left wall. Go up to it and press the x button and a canister should fall to the floor. As soon as the gator bites the canister, shoot the canister and the gator will explode.

- #3) To get sub-machine gun and rocket launcher with unlimited ammo, and 4th survivor mini game: In either characters 2nd scenario, beat the game in under 2 and a half hours. But you can save during the game only once , and you cannot use any First Aid spray. If you do it correctly you should get an A ranking. After the game credits and ranking screen, a new screen will come up telling you that you have the sub-machine gun and rocket launcher with unlimited ammo. There is another screen after that. The other screen tells you that you can play a different scenario if you make a new save data. Than you save the new data. When you load up the new data, you can play a secret mini game called the 4th survivor.
