Burlington Residence is a new mixed development of retail shops and apartments from the 5th - 20th floor. It has strong appeals young single and childless Caucasian expats as it is close to food & beverage joints, a 8-minute walk to the Bugis subway and Suntec City.

A big lap pool with good landscaping, 2 jacuzzis, tennis court and gym on the 5th level. No garden or sprawling grounds for children to run about and therefore families do not find this so interesting.

2nd floor with green grass view 3+1 2300sf is asking $8,000 rent. Image 10 shows the extensive dining and family area separated from the living area by a low wall. The living area is big but not visible from this angle as it is a split level and lower than the dining and family area. The big balcony is in the background. The main complaint from young Caucasian expats is that the apartment has old bathrooms and kitchen after they have had seen the new condos but Caucasian families love this landscaped quiet condo so conveniently located near Orchard Road. There is no shortage of taxis plying the Grange Road.

The Valley Park Condos with semi-circular balconies at the back of Realtor David are a Caucasian enclave but is considered high density. They are around 2 years old and have full condo facilities. Starbucks cafe is just next door.

They are a short walk to the Great World Shopping Mall to the left of the image and within a 5-minute taxi ride to Orchard Malls. The Tiong Bahru subway is around 2 bus stops round the corner to the right of the image.

A penthouse maisonette on the 18th floor is for rent at $10,000. 3-bedroom rent from $4,500 - $5,500 and demand is high.

The maid's room and kitchen are air conditioned with window units. Rooms are usually carpeted. Signs of wear and tear are evident in some units. Several units are being refurbished.

Excellent full condo facilities. An impressive entry foyer with high columns if you need to impress visitors.

A 10-minute walk to either the Somerset or Orchard subway. Rent for 4+1 2700sf from $10,000. Usually full occupancy, very popular with Caucasians and Americans. Lots of children. A billiard room is one rare feature as Singapore condos don't have such facilities.
