NOT JUST A FUNDRAISER - IT'S A "FUN"RAISER!

Awards will be given to the Competitive, Fun and Walk/Run Categories and will be based on how many times a stepper goes up and down the stadium or based on how many times a runner laps the track.
Please no pets, alcoholic beverages or glass containers.
Children must be 10 and under, accompanied by a parent/guardian and have a signed waiver authorizing partcipation in field events.
- Enclose registration form and non-refundable donation:
- Minimum $25 per adult, ages 18-64 (includes t-shirt).
- Minimum $20 per senior, 65+ (includes t-shirt).
- Minimum $20 per youth, ages 12-17 years (includes t-shirt).
- Minimum $10 per child, ages 11 and under (includes t-shirt).
- Children under 3 are free (no t-shirt).
- I am unable to participate but wish to donate.
- Completed entries and fees are due by April 9th, 2005. All Steppers must collect their sponsors' donations in advance and submit with registration form.
- Checks are accepted and should be made payable to the SIDS Network of Kansas. The SIDS Network of Kansas is a registered charity and all donations are tax deductible.

The group of Steppers can compete for the roving Grand Team Award (registered under one team name). Each team Stepper is subject to a registration fee or sponsored donation. Total climbs or laps by all team members will be combined to equal the team total.
- The individual who raises the most money.
- The first-place male & female in Fun, Competitive and Track categories win Waterford Crystal.
- Roving Grand Team Award is presented to the team with the overall most climbs/laps.
- A special recognition award will be given to the youngest and oldest Steppers.
- Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to event. At check-in, you will receive your number and t-shirt. All registered Steppers will receive a goodie bag and entry into the prize drawings.
- Steppers will be required to complete their climbs/laps in the 4-hour time slot. Steppers may take breaks as needed but will not be allowed to leave the stadium.
- Support the SIDS Network - The SIDS Network of Kansas, Inc. is a statewide non-profit organization. 100% of the net proceeds from Step-Up for SIDS will remain in Kansas to assist the Network in fulfilling its' mission to:
- Provide grief services to families affected by sids;
- Provide community awareness about SIDS and how to reduce the risks of SIDS and other infant mortality;
- Support medical research efforts.

- Climbing 4320 steps is equal to: Washington Monument 5 times, (897 climbs).
- Empire State Building, 3 times, (1576 stairs).
- Space Needle, 5.4 times, (522 stairs).
- Eiffel Tower, 2.7times, (1665 stairs).
- Sears Tower, 2 times,(2109 stairs).
