And So The Story Begins......
1. Pokemon! I Choose you!
It’s every young person’s dream to become a great Pokemon trainer, and Ash Ketchum
of Pallet town is no exception. Once a kid turns 10 years old, they can get their Pokemon
training licenses. Ash has just had his tenth birthday, and is looking very forward to
tomorrow, the day he gets his first Pokemon and starts out on his Pokemon Adventure.
He dreams about which of the 3 starter Pokemon he’ll choose, and disaster strikes. He
wakes up to find his alarm clock laying broken on the floor. He’s late. As fast as he can,
with out even changing out of his pajama’s he races to the home of Professor Oak, the
local Pokemon researcher of the town. He finds a large crowd of people by the
Professor’s door, among them is Gary Oak, grandson of Professor Oak, who already has
his first Pokemon. Oak finds Ash standing around his door and lets him inside the house
once Ash tells him his situation. Once inside Ash picks Squirtle, but it’s gone. He then
chooses Bulbasaur, then Charmander, but their both gone too..... he was to late. But
there’s one Pokemon left. Oak warns Ash about this one, but Ash is determined not to
leave empty handed. Another PokeBall Appears, which releases Pikachu from inside.
Pikachu’s temper is bad, but it’s Ash’s only chance to get a Pokemon, besides, he thinks
it’s cute. And so, Ash and Pikachu set out on their Pokemon adventure. Trouble is never
to far off. Ash a tempts to catch a Pidgey, but is unsuccessful. He throws a rock, misses,
the throws one more. It hits it target. An angry Spearow looks up from the tall grass, and
attacks Ash and Pikachu. Pikachu shocks it, but not before it can call it’s palls to help it
out. A huge flock of Spearow attacks. The two adventures try to run, but Pikachu
thinking it can protect its self runs out of Ash’s protection and almost gets killed. Ash
picks it up and runs for his life. He dives into a river, and almost drowns, but is saved by a young girl around his age fishing by the river
side. He borrows her bike to save his wounded Pokemon, not bothering to ask her
permission. It starts to rain, and Ash not looking where he’s going crashes the bike,
knocking both him and Pikachu to the ground. Pikachu’s in bad condition, and almost
looks dead. Ash tells it to get inside it’s PokeBall so that it will be safe, but it still refuses.
It’s scared to be inside one. Now, realizing how much Ash cares about it, it runs up Ash’s
back and leaps into the air. A thunder bolt shots down from the sky just as Pikachu is
preparing to use it’s own attack, and enhances Pikachu’s electric attack, zapping all the
Spearows. The sun comes out, and Pikachu and Ash are now both lying on the ground.
Ash looks up to the sky to sees a shining bird fly by, a bird his Pokedex Dexter has no
information on. He gets to his feet and picks up Pikachu. The bike is ruined, so he begins
to head towards Viridian city on foot. This is just the beginning of Ash’s and Pikachu’s
amazing adventure, don’t miss a second of it.
