"Want some coffee," she asked Heather. "Sure. I see you had company last night, who was he? I want details," Heather snapped. "How did you know," Brandy asked looking at Heather with a confused look on her face. "You left two wine glasses and a bottle of wine out. And that aint your shirt," Heather began. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you," Brandy replied yawning. "Tell me darn it," Heather replied letting out a little laugh. "AJ," Brandy answered. "Uh huh, C'mon tell me," Heather said. "No really." "Oh ok. Kewl," Heather replied non-chalantly. Brandy walked over to the coffee maker and poured two cups of coffee, adding all of the necessaties. Brandy handed Heather the cup. "Oh I forgot to tell you. I'm 2 months pregnant with Brian's love child," Heather said taking the cup into her hand. "Ok look if you don't believe me, go look, just don't wake him," Brandy said while looking at her, obviously getting worked up about her not believeing her. "Ok but if I go in there and find some middle-aged, fat drunk I'm going to rip your lungs out," Heather said walking towards her room.
She walked out looking at Brandy, smiling. She sat down at the table in front of Brandy. Brandy looked up from her coffee cup and smiled. "Impressed," Brandy asked. "Was it good," Heather asked. "God, Heather calm down," Brandy replied looking at her in amazment. "Just tell me darn it," Heather said stomping her feet like a child. "Well I don't feel like it's really any of your concern, but if you must know, it was damn good," She said over her coffee. "You go girl. I'm happy for you," Heather remarked. "Good it would be best if you were since I hope to see him lots more. Infact he'll be joining us for breakfast," Brandy said in response.
"Your not the type to go off and bring some guy home on the first date, what's up with that," Heather asked curiously. "We have been seeing each other for about three weeks now behind everyones back. Not really on purpose it's just that no one really bothered to pay attention so we just didnt take the time to say anything," Brandy answered in defense that the 'you go girl, im happy for you' was really meant like 'you get you some' and Brandy always hated to be thought of that way.
She got up from the table and walked to the counter. "What do you think he likes to eat for breakfast," Brandy asked Heather. "I dont know but if it were up to me he would eat cereal," Heather said laughing. "Well I'd sure hope so, sweetie, you know what mama told you about turning the stove on when I'm not around," Brandy said looking over at her with a motherly look. "Are you making fun of me," Heather asked. "No I'm just making it clear that I like this apartment and would't like any part in paying for the bills if you burnt it down. Besides Heather c'mon you can't even make toast," Brandy told her. "Well my cereal is damn good thank you," Heather joked. "I'm sure it is, you should have perfected it by now," Brandy replied.
She grabbed the blueberry muffin mix down out of the cabinet. She looked in the freezer and got some bacon down. "I hope all this stuff has directions on it because Katy isn't here to help me and I'm not exactly Betty Crocker," she told Heather. She grabbed the eggs out and started to make breakfast. Heather came over to help her out. "Maybe two airheads are better than one," She joked. "Hey I'm not an airhead," Brandy told her. "Oh c'mon you know the only one that can cook between the three of us is at work pulling grave yard shift right now," Heather said. They laughed and started to sing stupid old songs while they cooked. "....I believe in miracles, where ya from, you sexy thang....Thank you very much Mr. Roboto....I hear a smphony, a tender melody, so inviting, so exciting." They continued singing the parts that they remembered of those forever famous songs. "Oh I got one," Brandy said. She started, "But my love is all I have to give...." Heather joined in, "without you I dont think I can live." Just about that time, without either of them knowing it, AJ walked out into the kitchen. He stood in the doorway looking at Brandy. As they finished the chorus of All I Have To Give he clapped and they both jumped ten feet in the air. They turned around and busted out laughing. "My my my, you two are going to put the Backstreet Boys outta business. Not only do you know the lyrics, you look very nice cooking and dancing around in tee shirts too," he told them.
He walked over towards Brandy and wrapped his arms around her waist while she flipped the eggs. She turned around and gave him a kiss. He picked her up a little off the ground and squeezed her tight, "Morning. Smells good." "How do you like your eggs," she asked. "Over easy is fine," he replied. She turned around and broke the egg in the pan. He joined Heather at the table. They started a discussion about music and Brandy payed attention to the eggs.
She fixed Heather and AJ's plates and took them to the table. She walked back to the counter and went to fix hers. AJ walked over to her, "What do think this is, the Waffle House. Your not a waitress, your going to college to be a very important lawyer, act like it. Now go sit your pretty little ass down." "Yes sir," Brandy said laughing. She took her seat beside Heather. Heather looked at her and kinda giggled. "What," Brandy whispered. "Funny you never take that kinda language from anyone else," Heather remarked. Brandy just sort if shot her a 'shut your mouth cause' your digging your grave' look.
AJ brought Brandy her plate and got the orange juice out of the fridge. He sat it down on the table and looked through the cabinets for the glasses. He fount them and set them down. He took his seat. "Can we eat now," Heather asked. "Sure," AJ said smiling at her. He started to play Brandy's toes, moving up her leg. "Um, AJ get your foot off of my damn leg," Heather yelped. AJ turned 50 shades of red. Brandy looked at Heather, then she looked at AJ. "Aww, sweetie dont be embarassed. Heather just likes to piss people off," Brandy said moving around the table to sit beside AJ. She pinched a peice of her muffin off and threw it at Heather.
They all finished their breakfast. "What time is it," AJ asked. "9:30," Heather said looking over at the microwave. "Oh, I have a class in forty-five minutes, I'm gonna go and jump in the shower. I'll be back in a few," Brandy said while scrambling about, gather the dishes off of the table to get them in the sink. She shot down the hall and to her room. AJ followed her. "Want me to drive you to class today," he asked her. "If you want, but I can't be late," she answered. "I have to go get a shower now," disappearing into the bathroom. "Can I come," he asked. "Nope," she answered. "Atleast lemme wash your back," AJ yelled over the now running water. "AJ you and I both know that you would do more than wash my back for me. And I really dont have enough time," Brandy answered. "Fine well atleast gimmie my shirt, I kinda need it," he told her. She walked out of the bathroom, "Is this what you wanted," she asked him while still sporting his blue shirt. "It's all I ever wanted," he whispered. "I was refering to the shirt," she snapped. She walked over to him and started to unbutton the shirt. She blew in his ear and the removed the shirt, then bit his ear and pressed her body up against his. "Here's your shirt," she said stepping away from him as if nothing had happened. "You little tease," he yelled to her behind the now locked bathroom door. "Hey don't call me a tease. I'm not a tease, I just like to play hard to get," She yelled back at him. "Ok and I'm not a player, I just crush alot," he answered. "Shut up asshole," she said jokingly. He slipped his shirt on and left the room.
When Brandy got out of the shower she looked through her closet. She wanted to impress AJ when she walked back out into the living room, so she kept that in mind while picking out her outfit. She picked out a little purple top with the sleeves that comes down right below your elbow, and a short black skirt. With black heels to match. She got dressed, fixed her hair, put her make up on and looked at the clock. 10:00, on the dot. She rushed out into the living room, grabbed her keys and her purse. She stopped about to yell for AJ to come on. She turned around and AJ was sitting in the middle of the floor watching cartoons. He looked so adorable. His big brown eyes were fixed on the television. "AJ we need to go sweetie," she said while pulling herself back to the real world. "Oh ok," he replied while turning the t.v. off. He turned around and looked at her. "Damn you look phat today," He said as his eyes got wide. "Really, should I go change. I knew I shouldn't have worn this," she said in sarcastic disappointment. "You may not get to go to school today. You looked fly," He told her throwing his arm around her and walking her out the door. "Bye Heather, I'll see ya later," Brandy yelled in the distance. "Ya'll drive carefully," Heather yelled back, only emphasizing 'drive'.
