Story:  Ellen Gulden (Zellweger), an ambitious young Manhattan journalist, is forced to move back home to help her middle-aged parents (Streep and Hurt) through a crisis.



October 2nd

A Simple Plan

Story Two brothers, one a mild-mannered hardware store manager (Paxton), the other an overweight, unemployed slob (Thornton) and a friend stumble onto nearly $4 million cash in stolen money. The newfound booty leads Paxton's character, Hank, (with help from his cunning wife) to great lengths to keep the money a secret from local authorities. The three men begin to doubt each other's trust, which leads to shocking results of lies, deceit, and eventually murder.

Story Based on a short story from the Stephen King novells, Different Seasons which also produced Stand By Me (The Body), and The Shawshank Redemption (Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption). A high school student has uncovered a deadly secret. Far from suspicion,a Nazi war criminal has been quietly living in his hometown. Fascinated with the atrocities committed during the war, the student begins to blackmail him. In exchange for the teenager's silence, he must reveal his evil past. The two begin a relationship that spirals out of control, producing terrifying results

StoryA group of ants are being harassed by a bunch of grasshoppers. One ant decides to get some other bugs together to try to stop the grasshoppers, but the group is less than what he was expecting.
