The Denver Broncos Report...updated on Saturday September 16, 2000

It is the start of the new season and the Broncos have started 1 and 1 with a crushing win last week!!!
What do you think of Griese??? He is really putting up the yards and getting things going for the team...do you see another Elway in him???
Yes, it is true, our star second string running back, Orlandis Gary, was injured for the rest of the season during the season opener. TD had an injury that kept him out during the second game. There is no word as to whether TD will be back for this Sunday's game against the Raiders.
The Broncos did announce four players inactive for Sunday's game...they are Jason Elam, Jerry Johnson, Steve Russ and Melvin Tuten.
We attended training camp in late July. I recommend this venture for any serious Broncos fan. You can see them players up close and personal and here Shanahan yell at them!!!
Since Elam is injured for this Sunday's game, I wonder who they will have kicking. The punter could do it, but that is not his best feature. So, they may sign someone from the Denver area to kick for a game or two...I know they have used this option in the past!!!

The Broncos made a dream come true and won the Superbowl. Here they are presenting Pesident Clinton with a jersey after their first Superbowl win....

I think the Broncos have a fairly good shot at the playoffs this year if they keep themselves in the game. I want to point out that last season was not as bad as it seemed. Most games that the Broncos lost were by a touchdown or less. They were and still are a talented team!!! Now that Griese appears to be getting the hang of the team and the NFL, the Broncos have a very good shot at some success this year. The biggest drawbacks this year that could interfere with success will be Griese's inexperience with comebacks, as he demonstrated against the Rams during week one. And injuries will be a huge problem. I am shocked they pulled of such a huge win last week, 42-14 against the Atlanta Falcons with Terrel Davis, Orlandis Gary and Jason Elam all injured. Let's wish them Broncos the best of luck this season and hope for a playoff birth!!!

After last years losing season, us fans should not be down on the Broncos and they should not be criticized. The Broncos made it farther than most teams have ever been able to make it. They did tie an NFL record for most wins in a row with 18. And they are only one of two teams to go undefeated in a season for 13 games. So, I guess for every cloud there is a silver lining.....You will still hear the Camp household cheering GO BRONCOS every Sunday, no matter how many games the Broncos win or lose....

Well, by now, I don't think there is a person on this planet who does not know that the Broncos won the Superbowl on January 31 against the Falcons. There was a lot of critisism over the game. I guess a lot of football fans did not think the game was exciting enough. I guess they were not Broncos fans. We watched the game with a lot of Dirty Bird fans (or should I say, anti-Broncos fans). That was interesting, yet fun, especially since the Broncos blew them Dirty Birds out of the sky. And Congrats to Elway who won MVP of the game. Don't you really miss Elway???p>
