AWARE records is a record company that spreads the word... bands that have been on these compilations include Better Than Ezra, John Mayer, Josh Joplin Group, Pat McGee Band, Train, Vertical Horizon and others... check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Lucky Boys Confusion are a group of guys out of Chicago that absolutely put on one of the most intense shows I've seen or taped. They are NOT to be missed if they're in your area. On top of that, they're incredibly awesome guys and please please PLEASE go tape them. :D

Riddlin Kids are a band out of Austin that 'make very loud music'. :] They have one of the most high intensity shows I have seen! Go check them out. Their EP is available from the awarestore right now. Their CD has sold over 17000 copies the first week and is on the way to being a huge success! Again, they're very taper friendly!

Chocolate Genius is one of the coolest bands I've gotten the joy of experiencing. check them out. you'll be glad you did.

John Mayer is a singer songwriter out of Atlanta. He is original, creative, and is now one of the biggest acts this year. Very taper friendly. :]

stuff you need to hear....

Something Corporate is the only band I've ever seen that carries a full upright piano wherever they go. They're touring the nation with their 'indie piano rock'. Yet another band that likes the idea of taping :] and click below for more details!

Convoy are a rock band out of California who have opened for many major bands, including Zwan, Better Than Ezra, Aerosmith and Vertical Horizon. They're very original, not like the 'cookie cutter' rock that we see so much of. Go check them out, tape, and have a lot of fun--it's a high intensity show!

the dog and everything are a band out of chicago that are up and coming. I've seen them quite a few times now and their CD, "Bandshell" is in constant rotation in my cd player. Check them out, and tape them too!! :)

The Mu'Tet is an original group led by the Flecktones sax player, Jeff Coffin. Check them out and get funky!
