Special THANKS to our previous cast members:

Annie Wilsey - The First Heroine
Also "Children's Theater Workshop"

Since earning a duel degree in Kinesiology and Gender Studies from California State University, Annie has worked with a wide variety of children’s groups for the past 16 years, including at the Esalen Institute at Big Sur. Many of these groups focused on recreational coordination for children and adults with developmental disabilities. She is a certified massage therapist and yoga teacher at “Be Moved Studio” in downtown Lawrence, and her private practice includes being the yoga instructor for the Girl Scouts “Shape Up” program. Previous positions have ranged from teaching children’s yoga with Lawrence Parks & Recreation to working with the Youth Soccer League in Sonoma Valley, California. She and David are also recent parents. As she puts it, “I am passionate about treating people with care and facilitating others as they nurture themselves through creative, improvisational play.”

Laura Williams - The Second Heroine

Laura and Tommy stepped in to join our troupe for a trip we took to Satanta, Kansas. Laura and Tommy have very similar backgrounds, both being students at Lawrence High School. Aside from being good friends, they have also been performing together in theater productions since they were in grade school. Laura is also in the high school choir.

Matthew Windhauser - The First Pied Piper

Matt was our first Pied Piper. What an excellent actor and singer! His interaction with the kids and other actors was superb, and his version of "The Piper's Lament" could bring people to tears!

Tommy Cottin - The Second Pied Piper

When Matt graduated from Lawrence High School in 2007 and left for college in Iowa, he highly recommended his friend Tommy Cottin for the part. Matt was right - and we were lucky to have Tommy as part of the troupe. Like Matt, Tommy was a superb Piper. He was a senior at Lawrence High School, but if now at Kansas University. He has been passionate about theater since a young child, performing in a wide variety of productions. He also sang in the LHS choir.

Jen Nevergole - The Second Matron

Cordelia was out of town for a performance last spring, so we invited Jen to take her place. Jen recently moved to Lawrence from New York City. She teaches yoga in Lawrence at Be Moved Studio, Lawrence Therapy Center, and TherapyWorks. She also teaches meditation at Be Moved Studio and is available privately as a Reiki master and teacher.

Mark Gottschall - The First Mayor

Mark, who recently moved back to Austin, Texas, has performed and recorded in more than a dozen countries throughout the world, including recording on an album in Spain that hit the European pop charts. When not performing solo on guitar, Larry usually accompanied him on electric bass, accordion or piano.
