"Marie Louka" is a pseudonym referring to Marie Louise Kaekel, whom Schmid married in 1901.
"Respectfully Dedicated to Sir Norbert Whitley C.G. [Captain General] Kensington Commandery No. 54 K.T. [Knights Templar]"
Kensington Commandery No. 54 is now Kensington-Kadosh Commandery No. 54 stationed at Jenkintown Pennsylvania.
