I'm thinking of my homeland with every passing day.
I'm stuck inside the city I cannot find the key, the mayor and the councilors are laughing at me.

I was on the streets of Toronto cutting people's grass, in and out of poverty the welfare did not last.
I came back home defeated, suspicous, dirty and mean, but man it good to be back home where people accept me.

The east coast is a pretty place Cape Breton is my home
Halifax has memories leave that place alone
Newfoundland and P.E.I. the Islands are the best
but the old man who lives in Ottawa is forcing me out west.

I'd like to be in Calgary where the money is all wet, unlike here in this city where the money has been spent
There's not much point in moving on I think I'll stay at home
I'd rather live in misery than be out there alone

Borrowed Time

It seems like only yesterday I was trying to undersstand
great words of wisdom I was given by an old gentleman

I should start having new ones in the late fall 2009.
I have not been intrested in music for some time now. I do listen to the radio and able to like some songs. I can't say when but I do know when all my plans come into place I'll have one nice CD to show for all the pain and suffering I been through.
