Sleeping Riders

One of the "boys" was sick. It seemed to Rachel a good idea to let the sick one sleep in her room and keep the germs away from the others. She decided to use the extra bunk, although she didn't plan on getting much sleep. Little did she know what trouble it would cause! Using the clues and the diagram below, can you deduce who is sick, where each of the riders normally sleep (A-H) and their bed for that night? (Note: C and H are beds. A, E, and F are top bunks and the rest are bottom bunks)?

Hint: You'll need to work out who owns which weapons to solve the puzzle.

1) The person who normally sleeps at D forgot to make Ike's bunk up. Buck didn't want to sleep right next to Rachel's bunk so he moved to the opposite corner of the room from her and slept in Lou's regular bunk. Either Rachel slept in the single bed or she shared a bunk with Lou. Her normal bed was obviously in her room at H.

2) All weapons were hanging from the bed or bunk of the original occupant. Buck and another rider had knives. One rider had a shotgun and all of them, except Jimmy, had one 6-shooter. (Jimmy, of course, had a pair of them.) Rachel owned no weapons at all, but her temporary bed or bunks had a total of 5 weapons altogether hanging on it. Noah owned a whip in addition to his sidearm.

3) Bunks A, B, F, and G, altogether held only 5 weapons. Buck and Noah never slept under a top bunk. That can't be said for Lou or Kid, though. Both of them either normally slept under a top bunk or did so for the one night. Jimmy and Ike always took the bottom bunk. Cody, who usually slept on the top bunk, had a bed all to himself for the night. He didn't take any of his 3 weapons with him.

4) Exactly one of the riders stayed in his or her original bed or bunk. Kid didn't mind changing his sleeping place if it helped out Rachel and his sick friend. Ike enjoyed not having the tail of a whip dangling above his head for one night. Jimmy yanked the annoying thing down in the middle of the night 'cause it tickled his elbow. It slapped Noah on the cheek on its way to the floor.
