A recent press release issued by Paramount Pictures confirmed that veteran character actor Anthony Zerbe, who played Marshall Teaspoon Hunter in the television series "The Young Riders" has signed on as part of the guest cast in the still untitled ninth installment of the highly successful "Star Trek" series of films, the third to star the cast of "Star Trek: The Next Generation".The film tells the story of the crew's encounter with an alien race who possess a sort of "fountain of youth". Picard and crew come to their aid against those who would exploit them. Doing so puts them in direct conflict with Starfleet. Anthony Zerbe is slated to play a Starfleet Admiral in the film tentatively scheduled for release in November 1998.
