Biradari Members,
Namaskar,
I invite your kind attention to my
communication dated 11.04.2010, regarding activities to be taken on hand
after formation of new executive committee. This gives me immense
pleasure to inform our esteemed members that :
1)
Bhavan Nirman:
-
Boundary wall of
the Bhavan has been completed. It has given a new look to the Bhavan.
-
Pavers have been
laid on all the four sides of the Bhavan, which has added grandeur
to the building.

Kitchen block has
been completed except the “Shed”.
2)
Admission Process :
-
Admission process
for admission to Degree courses in engineering and Pharmacy was
completed . Counseling for the same was held on 01.08.2010 at LD
Engineering College . About 60 children sought admission in various
colleges across Gujarat. Koshur Samchar had made arrangements for
Boarding and Lodging at Bhavan. About 100 persons came and stayed at
Bhavan. Despite heavy downpour and water logging our dedicated team
members remained present at Bhavan and also during the counseling.

At the instance of
Jammu Geeta Bhavan we had also made arrangements for stay of 30
persons at Bhavan, on 19.08.2010, who had to came for MBA /MCA
Counseling, but only 4 people turned up. However 12 children got
admission in MBA/MCA
3) Housing
Project, Reservation of seats in professional colleges and registration
in Gujarat.

As already advised
a meeting with Smt Andiben Patel, Revenue Minister Gujarat was held
at Gandhinagar. Further action in this regard is being taken. We
propose to meet the Chief Minister Shri Narndra Modi Ji in coming
days.
4)
Collection Drive.

With great
satisfaction I inform that a collection drive was started in
April-May 2010, during only few visits we were able to raise funds
to a tune of Rs. 1,12,000.OO. We are thankful to our esteemed
members who have contributed generously for Bhavan Nirman. Due to
summer months and subsequent rains the drive for suspended
temporarily.

Only a part of
pending works of Bhavan has been completed, there is lot more to be
done. Details of approximate expenditure was advised by Shri kachru
Saheb earlier: We still need a fund of Rs. 4.00 to 5.00lacs .
We all know that raising of an amount of
about Rs. 5.00 lacs is not a big thing for our biradari in Ahmedabad,
but only thing is that we have to resolve and come . I humbly request
all my brothers and sisters to kindly donate generously so that the
pending works of the Bahavan are completed at the earliest.
