I would like to dedicate this page to my Mother, Margaret Isabella GLOVER Moore, born 7/14/1914 in Biggar Saskatchewan, Canada. She was the youngest daughter of Walter George GLOVER and Isabella Hope SCOTT. Both Walter and Isabella were born in HAWICK, Scotland, 1879.
Albert Nesbit GLOVER and his younger brother Jimmie GLOVER had a radio program in Alberta, Ontario Canada in the 1920's and 30's. Both were renowned musicians. Bert Glover went on to play in a 'Dixie Land Jazz group, after the untimely death of Jimmie Glover. Bert Glover died in Guelph Ontario in the 1980's.
Margaret Glover MOORE is the only child of Walter G. and Isabella Hope SCOTT GLOVER
to emmigrate to the U.S. All the other children remainded in Canada after their migration in the early 1900's.
The following is a photo of JESSIE HOPE GLOVER DYMOND, born HAwick, Scotland, May 28, 1904. She is the first child of Walter and Isabella Scott GLOVER. Jessie is on the far right.
next to her is JOHN CAMERON GLOVER, the youngest child of Walter GLOVER. Beside him is my Mother Margaret GLOVER MOORE. This child in from is her middle child, my sister Cherry. Ken DYMOND, Jessie's husband is on the far right.
