03/31/2001 - Once again, I give this page it's yearly update.
Bottom line folks. Syndicate A.S.K.'s players have all moved away to college, and whenever we get together, we get way too drunk to play Star Wars. *L* However, that doesn't stop the creative bug from biting me, so today I've posted a story/adventure that I WOULD have used with the boys had they not left. Dirty bastards. Anyway, I'm starting to believe that I ought to just scrap everything on this site except the adventures section, because that's the only thing anyone really cares about, right? I mean, you visit Yoda Boys for the pictures of your characters or characters you can steal. You go to Smilin' Drex's for a printout of ship you wanna steal. Now I'm not saying I'm on par with those great sites, but every month, about the middle of the month, I get an email from someone who's hit my site and wants further information about either "Abandoned Asteroid" or "Turnabout." So I give in. Now the emails will never stop, will they? *L* I take it as a compliment. Enjoy!
6/6/2000 - Wow, I haven't updated in almost a year! What a lazy bum I've been...
Well, that's not entirley true. Been busy with school, and I got into the Wolle Sector. You should to. Anyone who like SWRPG should. It's the best RP environment on the net, with a great focus on characters. That's why I added a whole section of my site devoted to it. Check it out.
8/11/99 - I tried to add some submissions tonight, but I lost my drive about half-way through the organization process. Oh well, I did move the bounty hunter rolodex onto it's own page (it got to big to share a page with the entryform) so check that out - I did put up the bounty hunter Aymin-chul, one of his characters from the Wolle Sector. I'll tell more about that later, as I think some of the more regular hits on the BHRP would be interested in checking it out once we get our little project done... Wolle Sector... where the days are hot and the night are deadly... check it out. It's really hip.
7/3/99 - Another afternoon off; I really should be practicing trombone, but I just couldn't stop myself. Ever since fixed my mouse (bad pun, ooooh, bad pun), I've had the itch to draw. So, I got Hyperspace Hawk updated to today (finally!). With two characters and the ship, it's off to a good start, methinks. Check it out.
7/2/99 - I added some pics of the new bounty hunters Salaat, Foosba, and ARTAX. I'll try to get Drake done sometime this week, and as for the Huntress... well, we'll see. After I get Drake up and posted, my next project is to bring Hyperspace Hawk up to speed. By the way, I appreciate the rash of submissions as of late... keep them coming. Everything you've sent in will be up soon (relativley speaking), so watch for your original work! My ClarisToons this time are really above par (for me, anyway.) And it's all because my buddy Chuck at Haddock Computer Center (that's in the shopping center at 21st St. and Woodlawn, back towards Tanner's and the DMV, if you're ever in Wichita...) showed me how to clean my mouse's balls...
7/1/99 - Whew! I worked my ass off tonight. I never realized how wierd navigation would be once I got more stuff on my page, but now I know, I guess. So I kind of divided it up with out dividing it up, so to speak. The BHRP is now kind of it's own entity, and the Campaigns and Adventures Page is no it's own entity. The only things they have in common are the .index page, and of course the author. I really like the buttons I made for them. They look snazzy. I can't wait to see them on someone else's page, without any credit to the creator (so far, I've got only one stolen graphic on my page, and that's the "long ago..." graphic at the top of the main page, which I stole from the Nacona Sector, and heaven knows where he got it...)
6/16/99 - Mostly a maintenence update today. I drew some cool images for my page (namely the Aquisition page.) The Boba Fett symbol (thanks, Stew!), the wanted poster, and the three bounty hunter heads, and all original ClarisToons. When I get the Bounty Hunter Weapons Emporium up and running, I'll need to draw a big, bad blaster for its button. That's about it for today. Coming Soon: More info for the Hyperspace Hawk Campaign (finally!), and also a couple of other suplements I'm working on: Nisharra Base and the Tessarata Penal Asteriod.
6/11/99 - Deep Blue my ass! Once again, I have proven that man is smarter than machine, and no matter how many times my Mac tries to thwart me (I think it's playing some sick game with me!), I'll always find a way to win. See, I used to bring my admittedly meager graphics to public scrutiny (via the World Wide Web) by exporting them through QuickTime, then saving them as .JPEG's. Well, ever since I downloaded QuickTime 4, my computer has not been letting me do this, and there has been no way to finaggle it into letting me. Well, ClarisWorks has it's uses after all. I investigated the Web Page creation stuff in the help index, and it turns out that you can make pretty reasonable webpages with ClarisWorks, and while it won't let you translate your own files into Web-ready documents, it will do it for you if you let it. After monkeying with it for about an hour, I can once again bring you all of my fractured creations. Enjoy! (Oh yeah, what's new... well, I changed the navigation on the main page somewhat, and the new "campaigns" link takes you to a page with buttons I made for each campaign. All in all, it looks pretty good!)
5/26/99 - I've seen Star Wars: Episod I about three times now since it came out, and yes, I had tickets to the 12:01am showing here in Wichita, KS. What a hip show... Anyway, I got to work today on my page for the first time in a while, and I mostly worked on the Bounty Hunter "rolodex of death" for lack of a better term. I added a cool pic of Syndicate: A.S.K. done by Darren "Yoda Boy" Calvert, and I also added bounty hunter Blitz Arcane, by Dan Gervais. His stats and story will be along shortly. I'm still looking for submissions, even if you don't have a pic! (I'm alot better with a pen and paper than with a mouse, don't worry!)
5/13/99 - Well, this was the major update I mentioned. I thought finals were going to be a bit more rigorous than they were (one would normally expect a final to be comprehensive, but they all covered info we learned in the last two weeks. I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.) I got the "Want Ads" page started (I also just sneezed three times in a row, and it kind of hurt! Sorry, that was stupid...), and I've got six bounty postings up, as well as the form for bounty submissions. I hope to get stats and GM adventure ideas posted as image-links on that page, but that'll be later on when I get around to it (now my eyes are watering!). I also moved the Bounty Hunter's Resource Page link more towards the top of the page, since I think it is going to become the main attraction of the page (if such a term can be applied!)
5/11/99 - Mostly a maintenence update today. I added a new pic of the Syndicate on their main page, and I updated the journal, as best I could from memory. It's still a ways from being caught up, though. I also fixed a broken link or two. I'm planning a major addition to the Bounty Hunter's Resource Page, but I've got to get through finals week first. I've also had a couple of good adventure ideas, one of them being another bountyhunter escapade (Mission Impossibe-esque, I might add!), and the other being Black Sun mini-campgain, suitable for just about any group from smugglers to bountyhunters, to Rebels, to even Imperials. All that it'll require is one human male with a soft-spot for a damsel in distress...
I figured out how to line my pictures up the way I want to, so I did. I then thought, "man, I bet that I could get that really good pencil drawing of Kanowa up now!" Try as I might, however, it was not to be. I re-scanned it, I re-saved it, I tried every convuluted thing I could think of into tricking Angelfire that the picture could be viewed on my page. But it was to no avail. Nick (his PC) is getting pissed, because it seems like EVERYTHING happens to poor 'ol Kanowa. Oh well...
4/15/99 - I went in and reformatted the main page today, and now it's a little easier on the eyes. At least my eyes. I also today visited the SW Resource Center, and I was aboslutely fascinated with the section on Blockade Runners. I highly suggest you check it out, as I plan to be posting some source material about a blockade runner shortly Click here for the SW Resource Center
4/12/99 - YESYESYES!!! I figured out how to do the form thing, and I've set up my own little "Dool Arena." I hope to get some cool submissions, which will no doubt turn into cool adventures even if we never get any of the fights done. Thank you so much, Darren "Yoda Boy" Calvert for pointing me in the right direction for this form stuff. I'm typing this in red because I can.
4/10/99 - I added a new main page graphic, I finished my "Redemption" Kanowa 'toon, and I added a templates section today. As I dream of new stuff, I'll add 'em on there. If you get any ideas, send 'em to me, and I'll post 'em. I'll also see how many times I can use the contraction "'em."
4/6/99 - After I got my rating from Nealos, I put my ass in gear. Yeah, I needed to clean up my page a bit, so I reformatted and tightened some things up. I also updated the links page, and I added the "Syndicate: A.S.K.: Redemption" source material. All in all, a productive evening!
3/23/99 - Since it is Spring Break here in the heatland, I decided now would be a fine time to do some additions to my page. I added some nifty little cartoon drawings of my PC's I did on ClarisWorks, and I fixed a broken link. I'll try to do more this week, but that would involve overcoming lethargy and using my computer (heaven forbid!). The pencil drawing of Kanowa still won't upload. I'm pissed. The rest of the stuff uploads fine. Maybe it's the file. Ah, screw it. If anyone has an undying urge to see my Kanowa-masterpiece, I'll email it. Needless to say, I won't be holding my breath for requests.
2/26/99 - Well, I had a host of new pics to post today, since I had some free time, but for some reason, the Angelfire web shell won't open them. I don't know why. I do everything the same way when I download my files. Personally, I think that the shell is PC-baised, and doesn't like me because I use a Mac. If anyone out there knows what I'm going through and can help, let me know. If there is a different web shell that is more Mac-friendly, tell me and I'll move. All the HTML is backed up on disk, so my pages would be back up in a week. And in case anyone from Anglefire is reading this (thanks, by the way, for hiding your email address so I can't ask you myself, although when I could find it you never answered me anyway), no, I didn't type it in wrong, and yes, the files I'm trying to show are just like the other pictures on my web page. This is not a problem at my end...
1/29/99 - If you're visiting for the first time, or if you're a repeat visitor as I update, c'mon guys, sign the freakin' guestbook or email me or whatever. I like to get feedback on how I'm doing (good or bad, whichever you percieve). The page won't get better without feedback, and I see the hit counter going up everyday, but nobody says anything. Don't be a stranger. I don't bite.
Also, there's been talk of guest contributions to the Syndicate: A.S.K. Homepage. If you've got a campaign, or campaign material, a finished, half-finished, rough outline, or even a laser-brained idea for an adventure, and you want to put it on the page, just email it to me and let me look it over. I'm not against guest contributions at all. I think it's a fabulous idea.
1/26/98 - Kicked off the "Hyperspace Hawk campaign" part of the page, so now that link doesn't take you to my corny little "under construction" page. Unfortuatley, all the links from that page do, but I should have some more stuff from that campaign up in a week or so. I've got lots of other comittments right now, including a tour with the band in February. Still, I think I can get most of it up there before then, barring any unforseen circumstances.
1/24/66 - Got my Scorpion picture up today under his bio. I've decided not to post the Final Exit adventure. It's okay, I guess. I'm just not as pleased with it as I thought I would be. It plays fun, but it seemed really contrived when I read the finished product. I'm using the planet Najiba for some other source material (look for the upcoming "Ranjo's Wetdock" section, done in "Wretched Hives of Scum and Villany" style), but I'm not going to post the adventure unless I get some requests. I don't forsee this happening, but if you want it, just email me and I'll at least send you the quick-start outline.
1/17/99 - Halelujah! I finally got my scanner working, so look forward to more pics from the Syndicate: A.S.K. universe. I'm close to finishing my "Final Exit" Conversion, so look forward to that within a couple a weeks (seeing how school just started again, and my free time is virtually gone.)
