

These are mainly from the Lawrence (Kansas) Journal World. Woodstock mentions were found mainly in the Valley Grove columns, as seen in the yellow highlighting above and below.
In the 1930's, the Lawrence Journal World gave Woodstock its own column.
In the 1960's, schools were consolidated. The Woodstock school building was no longer used for grades one through eight, with the area children attending school in McLouth.
"Woodstock" mentions in the area newspapers began to be about a big rock concert back east instead of about the area between Lawrence and McLouth.
