Dr. Konstantinos Andriotis is Coordinator and Associate Professor at the Hotel and Tourism Management Department of Cyprus University of Technology. He holds an MSc in International Hospitality Management (University of Strathclyde, 1995), a PhD in Tourism Development and Planning (Bournemouth University, 2000) and a Post Doc in Tourism Marketing (Hellenic Open University, 2006). He edits the International Journal of Tourism Policy and the book series Tourism Development and Management - Issues and Approaches. He is author of five books and over 30 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. He is regular reviewer for fifteen journals and member of the Editorial Board of fourteen journals. His work has appeared in various journals including: Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Tourism Analysis, International Journal of Tourism Research, Tourism Economics, Current Issues ιn Tourism, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, Tourism Recreation Research, Tourism and Hospitality Research, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Administration, Journal of Tourism Studies, Tourism Review, Anatolia - An International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research, Tourism - An International Interdisciplinary Journal, Tourism and Hospitality Planning and Development, and Tourism Today. He has authored five books entitled, Sustainability and Alternative Forms of Tourism, Marketing of Tourism Enterprises, Tourism Development and Planning, Management of Tourism Enterprises: A Strategic Approach and Quantitative Research and Data Analysis using SPSS v.11.5. He has acted as Chairman and member of the Organising and Scientific Committees of various international conferences. He has an h-index of 11 and more than 400 citations. His research interests are in tourism development and planning, alternative forms of tourism, community attitudes to tourism and tourism experience.
