The Small City
On The Banks Of Rapid Creek
In 1969 the very first year that I cut wheat in
Philip, South Dakota there was one other harvester in town. At
that time Philip was'nt known as wheat country. There was a
sign on the out side of town that said Philip was the
cattle capitol of South Dakota. A few years ago I
was talking with the manager of the Co-op station and he told
me that he now has over fifty custom harvester accounts every year.
How times change!
